APC Leader in Tai LGA, Calls For Calm After Suspension of one Barisuka Michael

Following the suspension of Mr. Barisuka Michael by the Executive Committee of All Progressives Congress,Apc; in Tai Local Government Area.

Leader and Chairman of Caucus in the Area, Kate Sam-Ngbo expressed shocked  by the actions of Tai Local Government Area Executives.

Kate Sam-Ngbo in a statement said the supposed issues with both parties was resolved at her abode some days ago, only to hear that the committee had different plans up their sleeves by the suspension.

“Only 4 days ago, I called all the EXCO members for a meeting in my house to reconcile their differences and to resolve the issues. We all dined together and left, believing that all of the issues were resolved, only for this to happen. What is the issue that cannot be resolved, and how are we going to progress as a people if we're unable to move beyond pettiness, bickering, and self-interest? Tai APC Executive Committee, your actions are the height of disrespect to leadership”, she lamented.

According to the  statement, status quo  remains until after the party convention in Abuja.

“There are processes to certain actions. This same leadership will bear the responsibility of your far-reaching decisions that you take without consultation. Our focus right now is to build the party and prepare for an election that is just at the corner. We will need everybody to chart a common course and move to victory; therefore, we don't need any form of distraction. However, my directive is that you remain calm, and the status quo should be maintained until after our convention in Abuja, and then we shall look at our next course of action. Also, henceforth, all posting relating to this matter be ceased”.

She said focus of members should be towards building a formidable party in the state to win the 2023 elections.
