Crude Oil Explosion Kills Twelve Persons In Rivers Community

 






Report says explosion at a crude oil tapping point has left many people dead in Rumuekpe Community Emohua local government Area of Rivers State. 

The sad incident happened at about 2AM today, when one of the buses loaded with crude oil at the  artisanal refineries exploded. 

The explosion which persons including women died and burnt beyond recognition with many vehicles and tricycles burnt to ashes at the tapping point said to be on the Trans Niger Delta Pipeline (TNP) that passed through the community. 

We gathered that all those who were at the exact tapping point in the "pit" got killed while some of those who had loaded the crude and waiting to load including women were also killed by the explosion.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
