Governor Fubara Approves Rehabilitation Of Okrika Grammar School

  By Awajis George  Rivers State Governor Sir. Siminalayi Fubara has approved the total rehabilitation of Okrika Grammar School in Okrika Local Government Area of the State. Governor Fubara started this during the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Diocese of Okrika at St.  Peter's Anglican Church, Okrika, on Saturday 18th November, 2023. Ladi Campaign Team Visits Rivers NAWOJians Solicit Votes

New CP Assume Office In Rivers State Seeks Public Support

  By Awajis George  The new Rivers State commissioner of police CP Tunji Disu said he will work with people of Rivers State to ensure crime and criminality is brought to the barest minimum. Police Kill Two Suspects Involved In The Murder Of SP Bako

Five Killed By Suspected Cultists In Ahoada

  By Awajis George Suspected Iceland cult members loyal to wanted David Gift aka 2Baba said to be responsible for killing of SP Bako Angbashim late Divisional Police Officer(DPO) of Ahoada Police Division on Sunday morning November 12,2023 attacked and killed five natives of Odiemerenyi community in Ahoada East LGA of Rivers State we gathered. Suspected Scavenger Killed In Port Harcourt As Staircase Collapses

 Viewer's Description is advised  By Awajis George A suspected scavenger was killed on Wednesday November 8th when a staircase collapsed on him at an abandoned one storey building located at 38 Elechi street Mile 3 Diobu Port Harcourt. IGP Deploy New CP To Rivers State

              New Rivers CP Olatunji Disu By Awajis George  The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed CP Olatunji Disu, as the new Commissioner of Police for Rivers Command, in order to ensure efficiency in the policing system across the state. IGP Egbetokun , also appoints seven others to lead different commands, as part of the ongoing measures towards strengthening security, tackling violent crimes, and enhancing optimal coordination of policing operations across Nigeria. Court Remands Former Khana Local Government Council Chairman

  By Awajis George A Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded a former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers, Sunny Bekanwa on alleged sponsorship of cultists that led to the murder of two prominent sons of Ogoni in the area. High Court Restraint Rivers State Speaker From Impeaching Governor Fubara

  By Awajis George  A Rivers State High Court sitting in Isiokpo Division Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state has issued an interim order restraining the Rivers State House of Assembly and the Speaker of the House, Martin Amaewhule from carrying out any actions with respect to the impeachment of the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara . Also restrained are Deputy Speaker, the Clerk of the House and the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor--Amadi . The case was filed by Damian Okoro SAN on behalf of the governor. Presiding Judge, Justice Ben  Whyte issued the order following a suit filed against the defendants and directed that party should maintained status quo pending the determination of the Motion on Notice and thereafter adjourned to 14th of November , 2023 for motion on notice.

Police Arraign Over One Hundred Rivers Youths

Police In Rivers State Denies Shooting At Governor Fubara
