Ahoada West Council Chairman Counters Misinformation Of Non-Performance, Showcases Completed And Ongoing Projects

Contrary to misinformation of Non-Performance being circulated by political adversaries of the Ahoada West Council Chairman, Hon Cheta Epelle Eugene, these are some of the projects/activities Hon. Eugene have carried out within five months in office while a lot of projects to be situated in some other communities are awaiting approval by the legislators.

1. Construction of solar water scheme, in some communities of AWELGA

2. Completion of Ebriba II town hall.

3. Restoring peace to Ukpeliede community. 

4. He has also purchased about 3 to 4 coastal bus, used by the council staff.

5.Ongoing rehabilitation of Odhiogbokor Community Primary School 

6.Acquisition of Land for Ahoada West Market (Mbiama market) .

The Chairman has also sent list of projects to be carried out in almost all the communities in Ahoada West awaiting approval by the legislators. 

Hon Eugene prioritizes welfare of workers and also prompt in paying of workers salaries.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Hoodlums Kidnap Students Of Rivers State University

 By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that five students of the Rivers State University were abducted at Rumuche/Rumuohia community in Emohua local government area of the state. Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko said today 2nd December 2025, a group of suspected cultists, numbering about five, attacked an isolated area in Rumuche/Rumuohia Community. The hoodlums shot and abducted five persons to an unknown destination.
