Develop Reading Culture for Success - ANOLGA SOLAD's Wife Advises Andoni Children

Children in Andoni Local Government Area have been urged to develop  reading culture as a way of securing a brighter future for themselves.

The wife of the Andoni Sole Administrator, Professor Amie Francis gave the charge during her pep talk at a party organized to celebrate this year's Children's Day themed Children: ''Our Future and Our Responsibility'' at Ngo Town, in Andoni LGA.

Professor Amie Francis also noted that children, when provided with the right environment and encouragement, have the potential to do well  in various fields of endeavor.

The Wife of the Sole Administrator, Andoni LGA, Professor Amie Francis, further announced the setting up of reading and production clubs in schools within the LGA as a way to stimulate children's interest in critical thinking, research and creative development.

Some of the school children who participated in the Children's Day Party shared their experience and lessons learnt.

On his part, the Zonal Director of the Senior Secondary Schools Board in Ngo, HRH Urang Job  lauded the initiative by the Wife of the Andoni Sole Administrator, Professor Amie Francis to establish reading clubs across schools in Andoni LGA.

He described the move as a step towards educational advancement in the area.

Recalled that the United Nations established the Universal Children's Day in 1954, and the day is celebrated every May 27 in Nigeria to promote children's welfare.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
