OPINION - APGA National Chairman Honored With Chieftaincy Title In Umuchu

Written By Nduka Anyanwu  In a momentous celebration that underscores his deep-rooted connection to community and leadership, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), High Chief Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, was conferred with the esteemed traditional title of “Ezenwata Umuchu” by His Royal Highness, Igwe Godson O. Aleto-Eleme Community CSO In Police Custody for Murder, Remains Of Deceased Victim Recovered

By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has arrested two suspects, for the gruesome murder of Sampson Worianime, a native of Okirika local government area. The suspects, one Igwe Alex, male 26 year old, the CSO of Aleto-Eleme Community and John Mikel 24 years old, all of Aleto Eleme. A statement by the spokesperson, Rivers State Police Command, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko said the victim  Sampson Worianime was reported missing on November 11, 2025, after accompanying a Youth from Ogbogbo Community in Okrika  to measure land at their old settlement. Following a distressing petition by the victim's mother, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) launched an investigation which led to the arrest of the two suspects. During a preliminary interrogation, the suspects confessed to abducting two youths from Okrika; including the victim.
