Police In Rivers State Visits Less Privileged To Commemorate Christmas

By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  In the spirit of Christmas, the C4i Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command led by Commander, CSP Julian Igbudu took to the street of Port Harcourt to feed and gift token to the less privileged and reassured them of their safety.   In a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko stated that the gesture was part of the police corporate social responsibility.   According to the statement, the team underscored the significance of the visit and noted that the initiative was just the beginning as it plans to launch a new phase of outreach on January 1, 2025, aiming to reach as many indigents and needy individuals as possible.   SP Iringe-Koko added that the commitment to giving back to the community demonstrates the team's dedication to serving and protecting the people of Rivers State and seeing into their well-being.

NDDC Donates Communication Equipment To Improve Community Policing In Rivers State

The project which was initiated by the former Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, was completed by the present commissioner, Mohammed Mustapha . Police In Rivers State Kill Notorious Cult Leader General 2 Man Terrorizing Ahoada Area

Police In Rivers State Arrest Child Trafficking Syndicate

 By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has cracked down on a child trafficking syndicate, rescuing four children and arresting a woman, Esther Anthony of Rumukwachi Community in Obio Akpor local government area of the State, who allegedly stole the children.   The children, aged one to thirteen years, were lodged at a Guest House in Rumukwachi, and were intended to be handed over to a nurse named Loveth, who runs a maternity home.   Police Public Relations Officer,  SP Grace Iringe-Koko , in a statement said the Guest House Managing Director became suspicious of Esther Anthony's activities and refused to let her check out with the children, demanding that the mother be present.   SP Iringe-Koko stated that the suspect left and returned with police officers, falsely claiming that the Guest House Manager had abducted the children and threatened her with a gun.   According to the statement, the Managing Director contacted the Choba A...
