The Andoni Council Chairman Mr Erastus Awortu also discouraged deforestation which constitutes a major threat to Biodiversity.

The Andoni Council Boss Erastus Awortu stated that the essence of the Meeting with the CDC Chairmen was to strategize on how to move the area forward and to mobilize the people to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration by INEC.

On his part, the CDC Chairman of Ngo who doubles as the Chairman of Conference of CDC Chairmen in Andoni Mr. Clement Clement acknowledged the effort of the Andoni Council Chairman in restoring peace to troubled communities of the Isiokwan District of Andoni.
