ONELGA Former Council Boss Debunks Alleged Social Media Information linking Him To Purported Replacement Of Rivers Deputy Governor

  The attention of Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru has been drawn to a publication circulating on certain social media platforms, including Port Harcourt Force and Inside Port Harcourt, alleging that he was directed to mobilise stakeholders from ONELGA to pressure the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, into replacing the Deputy Governor, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu. While the claims are unfounded and lack credibility, the potential for this misinformation to mislead the public and heighten political tension necessitates a formal response. Attack on Journalist: Police Arrests 13 Suspects in Port Harcourt

  By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  Thirteen suspects have been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command in connection to the attack and assault melted on a Port Harcourt based journalist, Mr. Allwell Ene, while conducting an investigation around garrison area. A statement by the Command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Blessing Agabe, stated that the suspects are believed to be involved in various criminal activities, including phone theft and the harassment of law-abiding members of the public.  The statement further noticed that  Investigations are ongoing and efforts are being intensified to ensure all perpetrators are brought to justice.
