One Inspector Salihu Kazeem who was accused by a seventeen year old girl Binla of taking her nude pictures and raping her around Ozuoba axis of PortHarcourt has been detained on the orders of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday.
Our correspondent who was at the Police headquarters reports that CP Eboka directed that the Police Officer be detained after hearing from the alleged rape victim and Inspector Kazeem while Investigation into the case continues.
CP Eboka also directed that certain persons mentioned in the statement of the alleged victim and Inspector Kazeem should be invited to give voluntary statement.
Meanwhile the alleged rape victim and the accused Police Officer have written their statements at the human rights desk at the Police headquarters in PortHarcourt.
Information at our disposal indicates that the accused Police Officer does not serve in Rivers State but serves in Bayelsa state.
The seventeen year old girl had alleged that Inspector Kazeem stripped she and her friend naked, took their nude video and rape them while using the nude video to constantly blackmail she and her friend after accusing them of stealing his five hundred thousand naira.
The Police Officer had also denied taking their nude video or raping them but admitted having consensual sex with the seventeen year old girl which he said was paid for.
Our Correspondent further reports that the Android phone belonging to the victim that she accused Inspector Kazeem of seizing from her,was recovered from the Police Officer.
