Suspected Cultists Kills Printer In Diobu Port Harcourt

Gunmen suspected to be cultists on Saturday night,15th March,2024 shot dead one identified as George Soporuchi a printer at Abakiliki street close to Emenike, Mile 1 Diobu, PortHarcourt.

Some eyewitnesses who claimed anonymous told our correspondent that the gunmen trailed the printer to Abakiliki close to Emenike street at about 8:30 pm and shot him dead while he was discussing with someone.

The eyewitnesses also revealed that the gunmen carted away his motorcycle and one of his mobile phone. The eyewitnesses speaking to our correspondent stated that on lookers rushed the victim to the hospital were he was confirmed dead on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko had earlier in a press statement confirmed the killing of a man last Thursday night 14 March, 2024 at Nanka street Mile 1 Diobu noting that investigation is still ongoing to apprehend the culprits.

As of the time of filing in this report, the Rivers State Police Command was yet to confirm the latest incident at Abakiliki to newsmen.

In the meantime, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu has warned cultists and other criminals  to desist from crime or face the hand of the law.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
