 By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has arrested suspects including a native doctor involved in a horrific case of ritual killing of two children from the same parents, Chizaram Onuche and Chidinma Onuche, both 7-year-olds. According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, at about nine in the morning of 23rd March 2025, operatives arrested a native doctor and other individuals involved in the heinous crime.  The Police, during the operation recovered key evidences including a bottle containing drained blood of the victims.  By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed  that a fire incident occurred at the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) operated Trans Niger Delta Pipeline, located at the border of Kpor and Bodo communities in Gokana Local Government Area of the State. According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko says during a routine night patrol, security operatives observed the incident and promptly alerted SPDC management.  The latter initiated necessary safety protocols, including shutting down the affected pipeline. As a result of swift intervention, the situation was brought  under control, and there is no further threat to residents or the environment. In a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, stated that acting on credible intelligence regarding the unlawful assembly of suspected hoodlums at the location, a patrol team from Elele Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), swiftly mobilized to the scene to restore order. According to a statement from the command,on March 3, 2025, at about 12:00 PM, Mr. Parradang arrived at Joy House Hotel, Area 3 Junction, driving a black Mercedes Benz.  He checked into the hotel, paid a sum of twenty thousand naira for one night's stay. Shortly thereafter, he directed the room attendant to escort a female guest to his room. The lady left the hotel premises around 4:00pm same day.
