Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission To Conduct Local Government Election In August

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has unveiled the 9th of August 2025 for the conduct of Local Government Elections across the state.

Chairman of the Commission, retired Justice Adolphus Enebeli during a stakeholders meeting for the unveiling of timetable and guidelines for the election said the commission is working to ensure general acceptability of the outcome of the election.

While calling on stakeholders to act right during and after the election, retired Justice Enebeli promised an atmosphere devoid of suspicion and rancour.
