Nduka Anyanwu Visits Umuchoko Women’s August Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment to Human Capital Development

 


Hon. Nduka Anyanwu, the 2027 APGA Candidate for the Ahiazu and Ezinihite Mbaise Federal Constituency, paid a courtesy visit to the Umuchoko Women’s August Meeting on Friday, 14 August 2026, where he interacted with the women and shared his vision for a more productive, empowered and prosperous constituency.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Anyanwu commended the women for their resilience, unity and continued contributions to the development of their families and communities. He encouraged them to remain productive, economically active and committed to initiatives that can improve the wellbeing of their households and the wider society.

He also appealed to the women to support his aspiration to represent the constituency at the National Assembly, expressing his determination to pursue a new direction focused on effective representation, human capital development and bringing meaningful dividends of democracy from the centre to the people.



According to him, the constituency deserves purposeful representation that will not only speak for the people but also actively pursue opportunities, programmes and interventions capable of improving the lives of constituents.

Hon. Anyanwu emphasized that human capital development would be a major priority of his vision, particularly in empowering women and young people with skills, opportunities and the capacity to become self-reliant and productive contributors to the local economy.

He assured the gathering that his engagement with the people would be broad-based and community-focused, stressing that the visit was part of his ongoing interactions with constituents ahead of the 2027 elections.


He further promised that as soon as the official campaign period begins, he will return to Umuchoko and other communities across the Federal Constituency to campaign adequately and formally roll out his comprehensive manifesto, outlining his programmes, priorities and agenda for the people.

The visit ended on a warm note, with Hon. Anyanwu appreciating the women for receiving him and for the opportunity to share his aspirations with them.

As the 2027 political season approaches, the APGA candidate reiterated his message of service, empowerment, purposeful representation and renewed development, calling on the people of Ahiazu and Ezinihite Mbaise to join hands in building a constituency where every citizen can have access to opportunity and a better future.

Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
