Police set to build a medical center in Orashi Region

The Commissioner of Police medical in charge of South/South zone cp Efonsola Sewemmo has commended the Upata monarch for providing them with a facility for the take off of police medical center in the Orashi region. The CP said this at Edeoha community, while speaking at the opening ceremony of the police free medical outreach in Upata kingdom in collaboration with "Chike Okoli foundation" and Emzor Pharmaceutical. She further said the police medical unit was happy to identify with Upata kingdom and advised the people to take advantage of the ongoing police healthcare services at Edeoha. She also so expressed appreciation to the Upata people for their hospitality, assuring that the police will not take it for granted. Also speaking at the ceremony, His Majesty, Eze Dr. Felix Otuwarikpo thanked the Nigeria police for finding Upata kingdom worthy to host the Police Medical Center. He promised the kingdom will assist the police to protect the facility and the medical staff just as he assured that Upata and Ekpeye is completely peaceful. He advised his subject and indeed all Ekpeye people to exploit to the fullest, the opportunity the police have provided them. He said " Today has marked a watershed on the march to providing quality medical services for our people." He charged Upata community leaders to inform their subjects. The traditional ruler used the medium to call on investors to take advantage of the investment friendly disposition of the Upata people. Meanwhile the Ahoada East local government chairman, Barr. Ben Eke who was represented by his Chief of Staff, assured the police of the council's support. He enjoined them to always approach the council for assistance when necessary. Also speaking, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ahoada division, CSP Job Simeon, thanked the Upata people for their continued hospitality and friendly disposition with the police. He promised the division will always work hard to sustain the existing peace and tranquillity in the area. Speaking on behalf of the community, the paramount ruler of Edeoha, Chief Eyii Clifford promised to do everything humanly possible to support the medical team.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
