Eight persons kill so far in hotels :says Rivers state police commissioner

Still on the recent serial killings in hotels in Rivers State, the Rivers State Police Command says it has arrested one murder suspect who has made useful confession that will further aid investigations. The Commissioner of Police Mustapha Dandaura in a press briefing in Port Harcourt told journalists that measures has been put in place to tackle the menace and bring culprits to book. CP Dandaura confirmed that eight persons have so far been murdered in various hotels in state, stressing that the police will not rest until the evil act becomes a thing of the past.

The Rivers State Commissioner of Police also observed that some hotels management are yet to comply with the directive given by the command which enjoined all hotels operating in the state to join their association and subscribe to all security guidelines given by the command. Mr. Dandaura appealed with the people of the state to remain calm as the command is on top of the situation and will spare no effort in dealing with the hoodlums perpetrating the act. The Rivers state commissioner of police, Mr. Mustapha Dandaura however solicited for the support of the public in purging the state of criminal activities.
