Disable fake soldiers arrested by the police

Crime: Rivers State The Rivers state police command has arrested a two man robbery gang Chibudo Ugwuala and Godwin Ekpuno. Police Public Relations Officer Mr. Nnamdi Omoni in a press statement said that the Anti Crime Patrol Team of the Abacha Police Station, while on routine patrol within the new GRA, intercepted the suspected criminals in a Honda Element car with Reg.no AKJ 695 DX. He noted that on interrogation, the hoodlums could not give a satisfactory account of how they came by the car and the Military Camouflage found on them, including Military Ranks of Brigadier General and Colonel, which they have been using to intimidate people and commit crimes. Further probe revealed that the duo are persons with disabilities, one Dumb and the other limbing but thrive in criminal activities. In a related development, the same Operatives arrested one Baredose Taabaa from Khana Local Government Area of the State whose criminal gang Specialises in snatching Handsets from unsuspecting persons along the Ikwerre Road. He was arrested shortly after he snatched a Samsung Handset from the owner at the Agip Flyover. The Handset was immediately recovered and the owner identified it to be his. The image maker of the command also said that all suspects arrested are helping in Investigation and will be charged to Court as soon as Investigation are over.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
