Rivers Police kills a notorious gang leader terrorizing Ogoni ,AKA Bobby also known as Devil

The Rivers State police command says Men of the Bori Police Station led by the DPO, last night, in a coordinated Operation trailed one Linus Lebari ‘m’ 35yrs AKA ‘BOBBY’ also known as “DEVIL” from Tekon Sogho in Khana Local government Area of the State, to their hideout in a forest at Okwale in the boundary between Rivers and Abia State. The hoodlums on noticing irregular movements around their camp, started shooting randomly but in a return fire from the Police, one of them was fatally wounded, who was later identified to be Linus Lebari from Tekon Sogho, the leader of the kidnapping Gang responsible for all the attacks on the Ogoni axis of the East/West Road and whose gang has killed over 30 people in the two Local Government Areas of Khana and Gokana, after collecting ransom. In the wake of the Operation, two Police Officers sustained gunshot wounds and are currently responding to treatment while one locally made Pistol and some Cartridges were recovered. Efforts are on to arrest other gang members who fled with gunshot wounds. The Commissioner of Police, CP Mustapha Dandaura is again assuring the public that the onslaught against arms banditry in the State is raging and will not cease until all criminal elements in the State are history, while appealing for cooperation, by sharing credible information that will lead to the arrest of these criminals. Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026. The Senior Magistrate informed the litigant on how the court had wanted to issue a bench warrant against him if not for the intervention of his lawyer who pleaded that he the litigant was sick and needed medical attention.
