The Rivers state Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN; joined other Christian faithfuls across the country in a rally and prayer walk to raise its voice to end the killings in Nigeria especially on the Christian's in the Northern part of the country by the Boko Haram member.
In the bid to raise its voice to end the killings and insecurity in the country and to called on the government attention to beef up security, the Rivers state Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria gathered together to raise their voices to God for intervention.
Chairman , Christian Association of Nigeria, Rivers state Chapter Stanely Dimpka at the Issac Boro park in Port Harcourt encourage Christian's not to be deterred as the Lord will continue to protect his people.
However Some clergy men Venerable Israel Omosioni and Bishop Fummi Adesanya expressed their pain over the continuous killings and urged the president to probe the service chiefs and improve the security of the country.
The prayer session was carried out by different denominations of churches in Rivers state.
