Heavy presence of security men at the Ikokwu spare parts market....as dealers obey sit at home order
Spare parts dealers at the popular Ikokwu market in PortHarcourt said they are happy with the sit at home order given by the leadership of the market union to press further on the demand for the release of the autopsy result conducted on late Chima Ikwunado.
Some of the traders Mr. Emeka Chinedu and Mr. Peter Chukwuemeka who spoke with our correspondent said they have to obey the order to show their seriousness in demanding for justice on the matter.
However ,Mr.Okon Sunday and Christian Okoro who were earlier in the market to get spare parts for their vehicles said they were not happy with the development considering the distance they are coming from to the market.
They urged the police to immediately meet up with the demands of the dealers on the said matter.
Our correspondent who visited the area reports that there were heavy armed police men, with about fifteen patrol vans stationed at the Ikokwu and mile 3 junction to avoid break down of law.
