See what Obio Akpor LGA in Rivers State did to pregnant women in the Area

Over two hundred pregnant women from Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers state have benefited from an empowerment program put together by a Non Governmental Organization ,NGO; La Cuisine Danielle in collaboration with Obio Akpor local government council. Wife of the local government chairman, Mrs.Emem Eke while thanking the founder of the NGO for the initiative admonished beneficiaries to make judicious use of the starter parts given to them. Mrs. Eke said they decided to collaborate with the NGO to help indigent pregnant women from the area have a sense of belonging. Earlier, founder of the NGO, Mrs.Daniella Omor, said the organization was providing support to pregnant women in rural areas of Rivers State to pay their delivery bills and grants to start up small scale business. Mrs. Omor encouraged the government and individuals to assist the organization reach more pregnant women. Meanwhile, two of the beneficiaries, Mrs.Grace John and Mrs.Chioma Austin who could not hide their joy , promised to make good use of the starter parts . They however advised relevant authorities to Cue into the program to end suffering of less privileged pregnant ones in the state.
