Civil Rights Council condemn killings in Diobu .... Express fear for Women and Children

Civil Rights Council,Rivers State Condemns the reported cult related killing in Mile 3 Diobu,PortHarcourt .In a statement,the Secretary of Civil Rights Council,Miss Uzuoma Kelechi expressed worry over the safety of persons, in particular women and children living in the area.She said reports available to the council indicates that women and children are now living in fear. She called on security agencies to live up to responsibility of protecting lives and property.

Father of Three Kills Wife few Days to International Women's Day Celebration In Port Harcourt

  By Awajis Josiah-Chijindu As the world approaches the International Women's Day, a man identified as Mr. Michael Chidozie working with a Civil Society Organizations in Port Harcourt has been arrested and detained by the Police in Rivers State, for allegedly beating his thirty -two year old wife and mother of three children, Mrs Ufuoma Chidozie to death on the early hours of Tuesday March 5th, ,2024 in Agip axis of Mile 4, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Rivers Political Crisis: Unknown Gunmen Kills Former SUG President In Ahoada

By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu         Viewers Discretion is Advised  Report says suspected cultists have shot dead one Endwell Awunze along Ula-Pata in Ahoada town, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State amid the political crisis in the State. We gathered that Mr. Awunze who is suspected to be a whistleblower against cultism and other violent crime in Okporowo community in Ahoada East may have been on the trail of the suspects before his untimely death last night.
