Police Confirm Killing of Vegetable Seller at Mile 3 Market

Rivers State Police command has confirmed the killing of a suspected Deygbam member one Henry Leo said to be selling tomatoes at the Mile 3 market in Diobu PortHarcourt city Local Government Area of Rivers State. Police Public Relations Officer Mr.Nnamdi Omoni who confirmed the incident to our Correspondent said that Henry Leo was shot by unknown gunmen . Mr. Omoni said some of the hoodlums who shot Leo were identified during the incident, and investigation is ongoing to arrest and bring the culprits to book. The police Image Maker stated that policemen have taken over the area to forestall breakdown of order. Mr. Omoni while stating that the deceased have been deposited in the mortuary , appealed to residents to report suspicious movement of persons around the area to the police . We brought you a report earlier that a suspected Deygbam cult member one Henry Leo was shot dead by suspected Iceland cult members at Bishop Okoye street,Mile 3 Diobu in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State . Eyewitness reports say four men driving in a Toyota Camry car opened fire on the deceased where he was doing his business and sped off. Some persons suspected to be his gang members thereafter put him in a wheelbarrow and carried him to a compound in Chigbu street where some of his friends reside.
