The Appeal court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjourned to the 13th of July 2020 on a case of Okirigwe Jason and others against Dele Moses and nine others over the Judgement of a hight court delivered by Justice George Omereji.
The Judgement of Justice omereji ordered that Dele Moses and nine others are the only candidates eligible to contest whenever the Rivers APC wishes to conduct their Congress , since they purchase forms during the 2015 Congress.
The applicants, Okirigwe Jason and others are asking the court through an expert order that the ruling of the High court should not be bidding on the people that went to court but all parties that are interested in contesting in the congress who also bought forms.
When the matter was called, the lead Presiding Judge, Justice I M. M. Salauwa ruled that all counsel should filled their written addresses within 4days each and adjourned to 13th of July 2020.
Speaking to journalists outside the court room, Counsel to the applicants Mr. Emenike Ebete said the interested parties were in court to enforce their rights also.
Mr. Ebete said they will file their written addresses as ordered by the court.
