Repentant Cultists in Ibaa Community Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State have been compiled by Members of Ibaa Security Peace and Adversory Committee, ISPAC; to take oath as part of step in denouncing membership in various cult groups.
Our Correspondent reports that over three hundred repentant Cultists have embrace the oath taking from the shrine of ISPAC following threat by the local Vigilante.
Some of the Repentant cultists who spoke to our correspondent said their participation in the oath is a prove of their willingness to embrace peace just as they called on those who are yet to embrace the existing peace in Ibaa to urgently do so, identifying forgiveness as the only way the community can move forward.
Earlier, Chief Security Officer of Ibaa Security Peace and Adversory Committee, Ohaka Obisike and the Secretary, Livingston-Chikakpobi while warning anyone who had engage in cult related activities to come for the oath taken, said the twenty-one days ultimatum still stands.
They stressed that without peace the community can not enjoy dividends of Democracy
