Police Arrest 30 year Old Man Over Defilement of 9 Year Old Step Daughter

A thirty year old man Musa Abubakar from Jigawa State has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command over defilement of his nine year old step daughter. The suspect who confessed to the crime while been interview at the State Criminal Investigation Department by Newsmen, claimed that sometimes his wife refuses to sleep with him , complaining of weakness. The nine years old girl who spoke with our correspondent narrated how the step father started defiling her at the age of four by inserting his finger in her private part . The nine years old girl disclosed that she was afraid of telling her mother because the first time she did her mother beat her up. The Minor who stated that they lived at Rupokwu in Obio Akpor Local Government Area, said she has to open up after the mother assured her that she will not be beaten. The victim revealed that she told the mother the truth and was examined by neighbours before the matter was reported to the Police.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
