'Release my Husband Unconditionally'... Wife of Kidnapped Victim Cry Out in Andoni

The people of Agwut Obolo in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State are calling on Security Agents to secure the release of one of their son Mr. Otungban Francis who was kidnapped from his residence in the community on the 11th of last month . Wife of the kidnapped victim Mrs. Charity Francis who spoke through an interpreter narrated how her husband was kidnapped. Mrs. Francis while noting that the matter was reported to the security Agencies and the Local Government Chairman Mr. Paul Lawrence appealed to the abductors to release her husband unconditionally. Also speaking, a member of the family, Chief Wilcox Ubulom-Osor said it was disheartened that in one family more than six persons have been kidnapped in recent times. Mr. Ubulom-Osor explained that one Mr. Anthony Ntendeng who is the younger brother to the victim was known for his assistance to the less privileged in the community and wonder why his family members should be kidnapped . On her part, younger sister to the victim Mrs . Better Egele whose husband had also been kidnapped but release after paying ransom , said she found it difficult to sleep as a result of the ugly recurrence. She however encourage the security Agencies to put in more effort to secure the release of her brother without hurt. Meanwhile ,when contacted, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni told our Correspondent that his office is yet to be briefed on the incident. Mr. Omoni promise to contact the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Area and get back to our Correspondent.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
