Rivers Police PRO and Other Officers get Promotion

Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan has charged the nineteen newly promoted Police Officers to consider their promotion as a call for more commitment to work. Our Correspondent reports that the nineteen officers who were decorated were promoted from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, to Superintendent of Police SP. Decorating the promoted officers Mr. Mukan, particularly encourage the promoted officers to be diligent to their duties and assured the support of the command. The Commissioner used the opportunity to Commend the Inspector General of Police for finding the officers worthy of the promotion charging them to ensure uprightness and good relationship in course of discharging their responsibilities. Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Superintendent of Police, SP Nnamdi Omoni who is currently the Public Relations Officer of the command assured that they would do all within their reach to justify the promotion invested in them. Mr. Omoni thanked the media for their support and promised to improve on the relationship he enjoyed with them
