30 Year Old Commercial Motorcyclist Alledgedly Rape 13 Year Old Girl in a Bush



A 30 year old man Mathew Gor  has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping a thirteen year old girl in Barayira community  Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State. 


 Cousin, to the 13 year old girl,Mr. Sebastian Mission who was also the guardian of the rape victim told our correspondent that the mother of the alleged rape victim last Friday while seeing her daughter off after a visit, saw the suspect at trailer Park in Eleme LGA  at about 6pm and pleaded with him to take the 13 year old girl home since both of them are from  the same community.

 
Mr. Mission said that the suspect obliged and carried the thirteen year old girl together with two persons on his Motorcycle.

The Guardian of the rape victim revealed that after the suspect dropped off the other persons at a village before Barayira community, the said Mr. Gor diverted the thirteen year old girl to a lonely road that Friday night and threatened her with a knife before he raped her. 




Mr. Mission further explained that a Security guard who had earlier heard her screaming saw her at the express road while crying after  the suspect left and took the alleged rape victim to the Youth leader of the community who inturn advised that the matter should be reported to the Chief of the community. 
 


Meanwhile a Human Rights Advocate,Prince Wiro in his reaction called for a thorough and unbiased investigation into the alleged rape of the thirteen year old girl for  justice to be served to all  the parties involved in the matter.



When contacted the Spokesman Rivers State Police Command, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident adding that the matter would be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department for proper investigation.
