Woman Rescued from Septic Tank Seeks Financial Support

Mrs. Chizoba Eke the woman who was rescued from a septic tank after been kidnapped and brutalized is asking for financial assistance to pay her hospital bills.

Mrs. Eke who spoke to our Correspondent on her hospital bed said the bill is two hundred and thirty seven thousand naira.

The mother of two appealed to the State government and well-meaning individuals to come to her aid as her husband has no means of paying the bills.


Also speaking, her husband Mr. Eke Eke said he does menial job for a living and added that his wife needs psychological examination to know her mental state.

Our Correspondent reports that the woman was limping and cannot raise her left hand as a result of the injuries she sustained from the ordeal.
