Family of Woman Allegedly Shot by OSPAC in Rivers Express Worries Over Inability of Police to Arrest the suspect
Family of one Victoria Ibrahim who was allegedly shot dead by an OSPAC member in Rumukpe Community Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State has raised alarm over the failure of the Police to arrest the suspect linked to the killing.
Cousin to the victim,Mr.Baron Wisdom in an interview with our correspondent alleged that contrary to the claim that the suspect has been arrested he is still walking freely in the village.
Mr. Wisdom explained that his cousin was shot for no reason by the OSPAC member.
When contacted,the commander of OSPAC in Emohua Local Government Area Mr.Emeka Wori,said he was aware of the incident and promised to get back to our correspondent.
Meanwhile , a Human Rights Advocate, Prince Wiro has expressed worry over the human rights abuses suffered by women ,perpetrated by persons said to be OSPAC members in the area.
