Day Old Baby Boy Found Dead at a Dump Site in Diobu PortHarcourt

The Nigeria Police has evacuated corpse of a day old baby boy dumped at a waste bin at the median of Ikwerre road opposite Egede street Mile 2 Diobu in PortHarcourt City Local Government Area tonight .

Some residents Kelechi Modesty and Chinemere Nwachukwu who spoke to our correspondent said they discovered the baby when they came to dispose their waste .

The residents raised alarm which attracted large crowd to the scene resulting to heavy traffic in the area.

Respondents condemned action of the unknown mother describing it as evil and barbaric.

Our correspondent also report that there were sachet of injection close to the dead baby.

Meanwhile, Secretary Board of Trustee Centre For Basic Rights And Accountability Campaign Mr. Prince Work who was also at the scene expressed sadness on the development describing it as inhumane, evil and height of wickedness.
