Justice Will be Served ...Rivers CP Assures Family of Late Security Guard Allegedly Shot by Police Officer
Rivers State Commissioner of Police Mr. Joseph Mukan said the erring officer who allegedly shot Mr. Gospel Gbaraka a security guard attached to a company in PortHarcourt has been detained and undergoing internal Disciplinary Procedures.
Mr. Mukan assured family of late Gospel Gbaraka that justice will be served in the matter.
Mr. Mukan while consoling family of the deceased ,urged them to remain resolute saying that the police will ensure justice in the matter.
Earlier, father of the deceased Mr. Innocent Gbaraka said he need justice
for his late son as he was the only hope of survival.
He added that if justice not prevailed in the matter he has no option than to commit suicide.
Our Correspondent report that late Gospel Gbaraka 28 year old a native of Gwara Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State was allegedly shot dead yesterday by a police officer while on duty post as Security guard attached to Bulk Strategic Reserve Limited at Abonnema Wharf in PortHarcourt.
