Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the shooting to death of Mr Jimoh Abiodun,father of three children by a Police Officer attached to Elelewon Police Divisional Police headquarters in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State.
Secretary Board of Trustee Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign ,Prince Wiro in a statement urged the Commissioner of Police Mr Joseph Mukan to ensure perpetrators are brought to book.
Mr Wiro condemned the trend of killing of innocent citizens by Police officers in Rivers State and call for an end to the senseless killings.
While condoling with the family of the deceased victim , charged the CP to ensure that justice is done in the circumstance.
