Heavy Protest ongoing at Rupokwu as Police Officer Allegedly Shot Keke Driver

Report says one tricycle driver was allegedly shot this morning by a police officer at Rupokwu in Obio Akpor local government area causing heavy traffic at that axis of Airport road.

Eyewitness says youths and tricycle drivers are on rampage in the area burning tyres on the road .

Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer Mr. Nnamdi Omoni who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said the report is sketchy, but the police are on ground to restore normalcy.
