Rivers State Police command has arraigned a Police Inspector, forty-six year Oba Christian who was accused of shooting and killing one Edmond Ikechi, a Keke rider at Elikpokodu Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government, on the 10th of December 2020.
Arraigning him in charge number 361, the Command accused Inspector Christian of killing Edmond Ikechi ,by firing him on the left side of his jaw with AK 47 riffle to death .
Chief Magistrate, A.O Amadi Nna declined jurisdiction on the matter and ordered that the case file be transferred to Department of Public Prosecution for advice.
Our Correspondent reports that Chief Magistrate A.O Amadi adjourned the case to 25 February 2021.
