Hoodlums Attack Worshippers Returning from Cross Over Night In Port Harcourt ,one Suspect Apprehended



 A Vigilante group at Okporo in Rumuodara,Obio/Akpor local Government area of Rivers State has apprehended à member of three man robbery gang, Ndubuisi Igwe popularly known as SS Chief, while they were robbing worshippers coming back from church in the early hours of today .

President, Rumuodara Youth Association, Mr Frank Weli who confirmed the incident to our correspondent explained that he got a distress call of the attack on the worshippers and quickly alerted members of vigilante in the area.

Mr Weli noted that two members of the gang with AK 47 riffle ran away while the vigilante was able to apprehend 'SS Chief’.

The President of Rumuodara Youth Association stated that the suspect was handed over to Okporo Police Station, with a locally made pistol, two cartridges which were recovered from him.

He added that the hoodlums inflicted injury on some of their female victims while harassing them indecently.

However, spokesman Rivers State Police command, Mr .Nnamdi Omoni was yet to comment on the incident as of the time of filing this report.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory
