Human Rights Group Commend Rivers CP For The Arrest Of OSPAC Members In Rumukpe Over Attempted Murder
Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has commended Rivers State commissioner of police Mr Joseph Mukan for the arrest of two OSPAC members in Rumukpe Emohua Local Government Area for butchering one wisdom Jeremiah on allegation that he threw a dead snake in one of their member's house claiming that their gods found him guilty of the act.
Secretary of the group Prince Wiro, in an interview with Newsmen in Port Harcourt called for thorough investigation into the incident with a view to bringing perpetrators to book to serve as deterrents to others.
Speaking further,Mr Wiro noted that a
member of the group accompanied the victim to Rumuji Divisional Police headquarters in Emohua LGA to file a formal compliant today.
