Rivers CP Charges Newly Deployed Special Constabularies Not To Indulge In Corruption

 




Rivers State Police Command has deployed three hundred and sixty six  special constabularies for community Policing .

Addressing the constabularies commissioner of police Mr. Joseph Mukan at the police headquarters in Port Harcourt charged the newly recruits to synergize with the police divisions in their areas for effective community Policing.

Mr. Mukan warned that corruption will not be tolerated among the newly recruited special constabularies under his watch.

The commissioner told the Special Constabularies not to have the mindset of making money through corruption in the course of their duty.


The Command boss admonished the newly recruits to be polite to members of the public and avoid acts that will amount to Human Rights abuses.


While noting that the Inspector General of Police,Mr. Mohammed Adamu expects them to be good ambassadors of Nigerian Police force,urged the recruits to always ask questions if they are in doubt of any situation.

CP Mukan urged the recruits who were posted to their various Local Government Areas to ensure they fight crime in their localities, protect lives and property.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive.
