Suspected Armed Robbers Shoot Lady In Port Harcourt After Robbing Her

Suspected armed robbers around 9pm today shot an unidentified lady at the front of a public toilet close to Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology in PortHarcourt.

President Student Union Government of the institution, ThankGod Igwe in an interview with our correspondent said they heard gunshots which made them rush out of the school campus.

Mr Igwe said when they got to the scene the lady was in a pool of her blood and was rushed to the school clinic where first aid was administered on her before she was taken to another hospital by the Police.

Mr Igwe said the hoodlums after robbing the lady, attempted to rape her but it seems her refusal earned her the gunshot injury.

The SUG President stated that the spot where the incident occurred has become a den for criminals and death trap for unsuspecting members of the public.

Mr Igwe called on relevant security agencies and the state Government to provide security at the place the incident took place especially at night.
