Group Condemned Act Of Brutality By Police Officers On A Pregnant Woman

Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has called on the Police Authorities to investigate the alleged brutality of a pregnant woman, Mrs Joy Ihunwo by men of Anti-kidnapping unit that led to the lost of her pregnancy

A lawyer with the group Mrs Jane James called on the Police Authorities to ensure the officers found culpable of the act are brought to book.

Mrs James pleged to seek justice for Mrs Ihunwo whom she described as innocent and does not deserve to be treated like a criminal.
