16 Days In Captivity : Andoni Traditional Rulers Appeal To The Abductors Of The King Of Ayama Ekede To Release Him Conditionally

 The Andoni Area Traditional Rulers Council has appealed to the abductors of the paramount ruler of Ayama Ekede Town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness King Bibama Ekpirikpo to immediately release the monarch unconditionally.


The Andoni monarchs stated this during a visit to the Ekede Town Council of Chiefs to discuss on modalities of ensuring the prompt release of the 92 years monarch who was kidnapped from his Palace 16days ago.

Speaking during the visit, Chairman  Andoni Area Traditional Rulers Council and Okaan-Ama of Ngo Land, King Job  Okuruket-Nnabiget  said it is worrisome that after the abduction and subsequent release of King Aaron Ikuru, Okaan-Ama of Ikuru Town, another prominent monarch was also kidnapped describing it as a sacrilegious action.

King Okuruket-Nnabiget also appealed to the abductors of the aged traditional ruler to release him and stop further kidnapping of innocent people of the area.

According to the Ngo monarch It was sad to read of the abduction of a senior member of the Council, King Bibama Ekpirikpo whom he described as a committed lover of peace who exudes humility and love for mankind in all the years he has lead Ayama Ekede, and does not deserve the unfair treatment melted on him by whoever abducted him.

Responding on behalf of the Ekede Town Council of Chiefs, Chief Gad  Ekpirikpo  thanked the traditional rulers for visiting them at the point of agony .

Chief Ekpirikpo called on government and security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue their monarch from his abductors.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
