Rivers Police Arrest Suspected 'One Chance ' Robbers Terrorizing Obiri Ikwerre Axis Of Port Harcourt

Police at Rumuosi in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state , have arrested 3 Members of a robbery gang that specialises in robbing unsuspecting persons of their belongings around the Choba/ Obiri Ikwerre axis of the State.

The suspects are Chukwudi Ani , Edwin Okike and Chidinma Eze

Police Public Relations Officer Mr Nnamdi Omoni in statement said the suspects were arrested, after successfully robbing one Mr Simon Ibrahim who was on his way to make deposit in the Bank.

Mr Omoni said luck ran out on the suspects who drove in a Mazda car when the victim raised alarm that alerted the Police and they were immediately arrested and taken to the Choba Police Station.

The victim had in his possession the sum of One point five Million Naira

According to the statement, The Commissioner of Police, Mr Eboka Friday has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID to take over the investigation and ensure that other members of the gang are arrested and prosecuted.
