Police Arrest Suspected Vikings Cult Leader, Girlfriend In Rivers

Rivers State Police command has commenced investigation of Christian, a final year student of Rivers State University Port Harcourt suspected to be the leader of  a cult group, the Vikings  . Spokesman Rivers State Police Command, Mr Nnamdi Omoni who made this known while responding to an inquiry to our correspondent said the suspect was arrested by personnel of Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State Police command acting on credible intelligence at the hotel where the cult kingpin lodged with his girlfriend. Mr Omoni told newsmen that the shooting of a final year student of Rivers State University, Blessing Ogolo three months ago was cult related. Blessing Ogolo who alleged he was shot by his course  mate after his examination inside the campus however, denied being a cultist.    

Journalists Charge To Report Vital Roles Women Play In Their Communities

OSPAC Leader In Emohua LGA Killed By Suspected Cultists , Body Dismembered

 Leader of the disbanded OSPAC in Umudioga Emohua local government area of Rivers State Mr Alex  Isaac has been killed. Spokesman  Rivers State Police command, Mr Nnamdi Omoni who confirmed the death of OSPAC leader in an interview with our Correspondent said the dismembered body of the victim had been recovered and deposited in the mortuary. Mr. Omoni stated that the Police has restored normalcy in the community while investigation has commenced into the incident. Our correspondent gathered that Gunmen suspected to be cultists yesterday invaded Umudioga community  and killed the OSPAC leader Alex  Isaac . Police Arraign Man For Impregnating A 13 Year Old Girl In PortHarcourt

 There was a mild drama at Chief Magistrate Court 20 in PortHarcourt presided over by Chief Magistrate Gomba Osaro as a thirteen year old girl  Blessing Uduak revealed  that she is four months pregnant allegedly for Mr Sunday Samuel who was arraigned by the Human Right desk at Rivers State Police headquarters, on a one count charge of having canal knowledge of an underaged girl. The underaged girl also said that the accused is her boyfriend. Meanwhile the accused Samuel Sunday was remanded in Port Harcourt  correctional centre and the case was adjourned to 16th August 2021 for consideration of bail after he pleaded not guilty to the charge. Assistant Pastor Dismisses General Overseer's Claim Of Dating 20 Year Old Alleged Rape Victim

 The former Assistant Pastor of Jesus Alive Word Refiners International Church Mr Victor Uduak has dismissed statement credited to  the General Overseer of the Church   Pastor Daniel Tony  that he was suspended for committing fornication with 20 year old lady Amaka ,who accused  Pastor  Daniel of rape. Pastor  Daniel had in an interview with journalists  claimed Amaka accused him of rape because he suspended her boyfriend, Victor Uduak who is an Assistant Pastor with the church for committing fornication. Residents Of Omuodukwu Community Decry Poor State Of Internal Road, Appeals To Government

 Some residents of Omuodukwu Igwuruta in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers state have decried the deplorable condition of roads in the area. The people lamented that the bad state of the road have crippled their business activities. Nigerian Army Chieftain Major General Hassan Ahmed murdered, wife abducted

  Former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, Major General Hassan Ahmed,     has been assassinated in Abuja. Major Ahmed was murdered to night in the Abaji area. The assailants also kidnapped his wife. According to DAILY POST,  the couple were coming from Okene when they were attacked. We gathered that while they opened fire on his vehicle,  the driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, his  wife was taken  away. 20 Year Old Lady Accuse General Overseer Of A Church In Port Harcourt Of Rape

 The General Overseer  Jesus Alive Word Refiners INTL Church Port Harcourt  ,Pastor Tony  Daniel has been accused to have connived with some of church members to rape a 20 year old lady. 30 Year Old Man Arrested For Impregnating A 12 Year Old Girl In PortHarcourt

  A native of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State ,Henry Ogbuji has been arrested for Allegedly defiling and impregnating a 12 Year Old girl in the area. Mr Ogbuji who is being detained at Rumueprikom Divisional Police station was arrested when the guardian of the twelve year old girl reported to the Police after discovering that she was pregnant.   Sources revealed that Mr  Ogbuji was said to have allegedly defiled the 12 year old girl when she came into his house for an errand in the month of March, 2021. Residents Of Rivers State Rejoice As Governor Wike Lifts Curfew

  The Rivers State Government have lifted the curfew imposed on the 23 local government areas of the state. Governor Nyesom Wike in a state broadcast said in response to the security breaches and premeditate attacks and killing of security officers in some of the neighboring States by gunmen a night-time curfew was imposed on the land borders with other States on the 28th of April 2021. Rivers State Police Command Parade Kidnappers Who Specializes In Raping Their Female Victims

  The Rivers State Police Command has paraded five alleged kidnappers  who specialize in abducting and raping female victims. The Commissioner of Police, Mr Eboka Friday while briefing newsmen  at the Police headquarters in PortHarcourt said operatives of the anti-kidnapping unit arrested the suspects following a tipoff. The Commissioner of police explained that luck ran out of the suspects when they  kidnapped one Grace Gomba who was rescued by the Police after four days in  captivity.
