30 Year Old Man Arrested For Impregnating A 12 Year Old Girl In PortHarcourt

 A native of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State ,Henry Ogbuji has been arrested for Allegedly defiling and impregnating a 12 Year Old girl in the area.


Mr Ogbuji who is being detained at Rumueprikom Divisional Police station was arrested when the guardian of the twelve year old girl reported to the Police after discovering that she was pregnant.

 
Sources revealed that Mr  Ogbuji was said to have allegedly defiled the 12 year old girl when she came into his house for an errand in the month of March, 2021.


In the meantime,Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has called  for proper investigation into the incident with a view to arraigning the suspect in court if found culpable.

National Coordinator of the group Mr Prince Wiro made the position of the group known in a statement .
 
Mr Wiro added that the incident has been brought to the notice of the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Nnamdi Omoni .

As of the time of filing this report , we gathered that the  suspect has been transferred to the Human Rights desk of the Rivers State Police headquarters in PortHarcourt.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
