20 Year Old Lady Accuse General Overseer Of A Church In Port Harcourt Of Rape

 The General Overseer  Jesus Alive Word Refiners INTL Church Port Harcourt  ,Pastor Tony  Daniel has been accused to have connived with some of church members to rape a 20 year old lady.


The lady alleged  the pastor and his Personal  Assistant,Miss Favour invited her  to a place around Wipey  junction, Port Harcourt to resolve issues they were having with the Pastor's wife whose church is located in the compound she resides. 

The victim claimed that she noticed the place was a guest house upon arrival but was not suspicious of anything since Favour was in the place.

The 20 year old lady alleged that few minutes after she got inside the room, pastor Daniel locked the door and increased the volume of the Television set while Favour and the other lady she does not know her identity who was also in the room held her as the Pastor raped her.

She further alleged that the Pastor and his accomplices forced  her to swear an oath with  a substance suspected to be charm' not to revealed to anybody what transpired in the place or she dies.

Meanwhile,a Personal Assistant to the General Overseer who refused to mentioned his name said the story was fake noting that the church leadership will make its position known in due cause.

In the meantime, a Lawyer with Human Rights Advocacy Group, Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability campaign Mr Festus Bonwin told our correspondent that the group has petitioned the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Mr Eboka Friday upon receiving a report from the 20 year old girl, to  demand for a thorough investigation into the allegation made by the  victim  against the Pastor.

Mr Bonwin said the group is also asking that the Police provide adequate security for the victim as feelers indicate that  there are threat from some quarters on her.

As at press time we gathered that the Commissioner of Police, Mr Friday Eboka has minuted the petition filed by Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign to the Human Rights desk at  Police headquarters, for proper  investigations.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages.
