Rivers Police Exhume Remains Of General Overseer Killed By Kidnappers

 


The Rivers State Police Command has exhumed the remains of the General Overseer of God is God Ministries, pastor Friday Olakada, at Agbochia in Eleme local government area .

The 56 years old father of six, pastor Olakada was kidnapped on the 14th of May 2021 by  the suspects who pretended to be passengers asked him to  picked them on a 'drop'.

Briefing Journalists at the scene of the crime in Lorre community Khana local government area, Rivers State commissioner of police Mr Friday Eboka 
said the four suspects collected the sum of five hundred  thousand naira as  ransom,killed their victim and buried him in a shallow grave.

Mr Eboka explained that the suspects confessed to have killed the victim ten days after collecting the ransom. 

Speaking onbehalf of the other suspects 27 years Prince Odi confessed to the crime , explaining that the victim was killed because he recognized one of them.

Odi said they were contacted by someone who was in need of a sienna bus , which the victim was lured and his vehicle snatched before he was killed.

Younger brother to the deceased  Mr Woko Olakada commended the police for their efforts and asked that justice be served in the matter.

Mr Olakada also expressed sadness over the demise of his elder brother noting that the family is in pains as the children of the deceased are facing untold hardship.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
