Bus Driver, Conductor Causes Death Of Passenger In Mile 3 PortHarcourt

 One Mr Tedus Ohawen from Imo state was  allegedly murdered today at Wobo street following an argument with a bus driver and conductor.


Chief Security Officer of Diobu vigilante Mile 3 unit Godstime Ihunwo told our Correspondent that the passenger Mr Ohawen was arguing with the  conductor when he was pushed out of the vehicle and the driver hit him with the vehicle and they both ran away but were later apprehended at mile 1 and detained at mile 3 Police station.



The Youth President of Rumuelechi community comrade Okpara  Christain told our Correspondent that the Police has been able to calm down the  situation.

"From eyewitness a particular passenger was asking for his change at the process the vehicle was moving so the man fail down and that was how he died .I have asked everybody to remain calm the security agencies are here to handle the situation.They are trying to move the body out of the road because is causing lots of hold up."


Another eyewitness who will not want her name mentioned claimed that the argument was because of fifty naira.

"We just dey for Ikwerre  road I been go market to buy something see one bus driver with one man wey  dey inside the bus with conductor dey drag #50 , the man dey say conductor give me my change before you know the conductor push the man ,as the man fall dey claim am run, finally the man die for road,I no know this conductors just#50 dey go dey do nonsense for road."

 Our correspondent who visited the area reports that the police was seen at the scene of the incident .

Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. Federal Government Yet to Approve Adire as NYSC Uniform, Minister Clarifies
