Police Commence Recruitment Of 10,000 Constables

 The Rivers State Police Command has commenced the recruitment of ten thousand Constables into the Nigeria Police Force .


The 2020 recruitment exercise which will take place on the 29th and 30th of October 2021 will hold at Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, Woji by YKC Filling  Station by 7:30 am.

Candidates will seat for the examination using the Computer Based Test ,CTB; .


Police Public Relations Officer Mr Nnamdi Omoni in a statement said Candidates who applied and attended the Physical Screening Exercise last year ,2020;are advised to visit the recruitment portal on: www.policerecruitment.gov.ng to check their recruitment status and print the CBT Examination Slip, to ascertain if they are qualified for the next stage of the Exercise on or before 28th October, 2021.

Furthermore, those who had earlier checked and printed the Examination Slip are advised to revisit the portal, re-check and reprint the slip within the stipulated period.

He stated that qualified candidates are to come with the print out, their CBT examination slips and appear in white T-shirts and shorts, as well as strictly observe all Covid-19 protocols, including wearing Facemasks, during the Exercise.

While adding that the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday  wishes the candidates success in the Examination, however warned them to conduct themselves in an orderly manner to avoid acts capable of undermining the Exercise, noting that the exercise is absolutely free as directed by the Police High Command.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
