Police Arrest Suspects Who Behead Nine Year Old Boy In Ikwerre

 Rivers State Police Command says two suspects Chibuzor Amadi and Kenneth Sylivernus who murdered a nine year old boy Destiny Peter in a bush at Azunmini community in Isiokpo headquarters of Ikwerre Local Government Area have been arrested.


The Police image maker in the state Mr Nnamdi Omoni said on the 12th of November 2021 the boy Destiny was lured by the suspects to the bush where he was beheaded, his stomach severed with his intestine removed.

Mr Omoni in an interview with our Correspondent stated the matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.

While adding that justice will be served in the matter noted that the remains of the deceased boy has been deposited in the mortuary. 

Also reacting  to the issue of the 51 year old woman Mrs Gladys Napoleon from Chokocho in Etche Local Government Area who murdered the husband  one Napoleon Amadi,the police PRO said autopsy has been conducted on the deceased ,while the suspect will be charge to court soon.

Mrs Gladys Amadi had earlier admitted to have murdered the husband with a matchet and was arrested on the 8th of October.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
